Infant Sleep Consultations Kent

Over the years I have come across many parents who are at the end of their tether and on the edge of despair due to their baby having sleep problems. This has prompted me to qualify as an infant sleep consultant so that I can offer advice and support to those families at a cost that won’t break the bank!

If a baby is 6 months or under I would first recommend that family attend my How To Help Your Newborn Sleep Workshop. However if a one-to-one consultation to discuss specific issues is required then I am very happy to do that.

The cost for a private consultation is £120.00 and includes a sleep diary (that I need each family to fill out and return to me prior to the consultation); a 90 minute face to face meeting so that I can talk the family through my recommendations and ensure that they fit with their family life and household schedules. I then support the family via text messages and phone calls for up to 7-10 days to see how everything is going and help tweak things as necessary. If a family feels that they don’t need the on-going support then the charge for the sleep diary and 90 minute consultation with no further support is £80.

If a family lives more than 45 minutes drive from my home in Folkestone an additional travel cost will apply.

If any further email, telephone or Skype support needed after that I charge £20 for up to 30 minutes.

How To Help Your Newborn Sleep Workshops

The aim of this 1.5 hour session is to help parents-to-be and new parents to understand why sleep is so important for babies, what is normal sleep for babies and what tips and techniques can be used to help their baby get into a good sleep pattern. The workshop also covers common sleep issues that occur in the first year of a child’s life and how to deal with them.

Testimonials

“Amazing!!! I contacted Sarah because my son was such a bad sleeper – waking regularly 6-8 times a night and refusing to nap during the day.

Sarah asked us to fill out a sleep diary, then tailored the sleep plan to our family’s needs. She came and spent a good hour at our house to discuss everything with us so that we felt completely ready to start the sleep training. She then supported us through the whole process, giving us support over the phone and answering every one of my texts promptly and basically kept us on track with everything and within a week my son was sleeping in his own cot overnight with only one wake for a feed and napping well during the day.

Who would have thought it! It has make such a difference to our home life and I can honestly say that I’m now enjoying parenthood again!

I can’t thank Sarah enough. We couldn’t have done it without her.”
